Mission Goals/Objectives


The mission of the Department of Biomedical Engineering is to nurture professionals in the biomedical engineering related industries.

Educational Objectives

1. To teach and train the basic designers and integrator in the field of biomedical engineering.
2. To teach and train the analyzer or assessor in the field of biomedical engineering.
3. To teach and train the students high ethical standards, a spirit of cooperation, and broad worldview to serve their communities.

Core Competencies

1. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and biomedical engineering. (Academic Education)
2. An ability to design and execute experiments, analyze and interpret data. (Knowledge of Engineering Sciences)
3. An ability to use biomedical engineering technology and engineering tools. (Modern Tool Usage)
4. An ability to design small medical equipment systems or components. (Design Systems)
